Drain pan
Tray for heat exchangers, isolates the unit from the floor and also collects all the condensate formed on the outside of the unit. In addition, it absorbs water, which may leak from the unit when it is opened for inspection or maintenance. Protective cover
Protective cover is a device that closes all of the package plate heat exchanger with the exception of the bottom. The casing is used to protect personnel against possible leakage of coolant from the machine, corrosive or toxic substance if used in the process. Protective sheet is made of one or more sheets of stainless steel (AISI 304) molded in size heat exchanger. In most models, a sheet is located between the plate pack and the pressure bolts.
Instructions for installing
When used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning are encouraged to include a heat exchanger in counter current. Specialists Alfa-Naval recommends to mount PTO on the flat base, providing the necessary support for the cabinet. Should leave space around the heat exchanger, which allows to perform in case of need for its technical service. Before attaching pipes to plate heat exchangers, make sure that after flushing the system remove all foreign objects. In addition, the pipeline system should not pass on the VET effort.
Operation
Changing the flow of media through the brazed plate heat exchanger to achieve the required temperature parameters should be carried out smoothly in order to avoid water hammer. This means that the undesirable use of high-speed multipurpose valves without pipe lengths in the system was very short. Problems with maintaining the quality of the heat exchanger can be caused by changes in temperature, ratio of costs of working environments, or contamination of the surfaces of heat transfer. Instructions for maintenance
Heat transfer through the plates of the device can life significantly reduced due to the formation of various types of deposits on the plates. Despite the fact that the high turbulence liquid in the apparatus to a large extent prevents deposits, yet it does not provide complete protection from their appearance. In normal operation, the device is not necessary to open it (except for a sudden need to check the integrity of the plates or replacing seals). Using a set of wash CIP (Cleaning In Place) can easily and effectively remove the calcium deposits (scale) and other forms of deposits on the surfaces of wafers without opening the unit. Cleaning wafers from contamination can also hold open device and mechanical clearing heat transfer surface with a brush.
