General Fittings

Modern technologies of heat and water have found fertile ground in the domestic market: in U.S today, along with steel and galvanized pipes are widely used polyethylene, polypropylene, plastic and copper pipes. For the installation of these products among themselves, a wide range of fittings (fittings), one of the leading European manufacturers which is precisely the Italian firm General Fittings (GF).
RANGE: Mounting steel and galvanized pipes General Fittings (hereinafter GF) produces brass squares and tees, caps and bochata, couplings and adapters, connectors and extension cords, and the collector nozzle. All these fittings are produced with nickel coating, and without it.
For polyethylene and polypropylene pipes GF produces special compression fittings with tapered split ring. They allow the user to collect their own water supply, using only a wrench and a knife (or a hacksaw). Such compounds can withstand pressures up to 60 atm.
For copper tubing are compression fittings GF with not ring. They do not require special welding equipment and actively used in the assembly of branched networks of copper water pipes (especially when installed in areas with limited access).
Recently in U.S in the heating systems and water supply have been widely used in metal-pipe. For this type of pipe connecting GF produces brass fittings of the standard SP (also called Vestol) as with nickel coating, and without it. They not only provide high reliability, and ease of installation. Among other things, these fittings are universal and are compatible with both domestic composite pipes (such as “Kitek” and “Lighthouse”), and with imports (for example, with the Israeli Super Pipe, Polish Kisan, Belgian Henco, the South Korean LG).
FEATURES: special attention should be paid fittings GF, designed for connection of metal pipes – that is fitting the standard SP (or Vestol). In contrast to the other very common system of fixture metal pipes used in fittings with split ring (pipe “compress” with the ring), with compounds such as SP is cold rolling of the fitting. The result is almost nonseparable attachment, since the internal edges tightly fitting “penetrate” in a layer of polyethylene.
What gives?
In any system of heating temperature jumps occur, giving rise to a linear extension tubes. In the case of fittings with split ring, this leads to a weakening of connections, whereas the standard fittings of such a lack of SP denied.
